"How many people have died between being rejected for ESA and their appeal, and how many people have actually committed suicide?"

At the September 4 Atos Parliamentary debate MP Julie Hilling (Bolton West) (Lab) asked:

"How many people have died between being rejected for ESA and their appeal, and how many people have actually committed suicide?"

Her questions went unanswered. Isn't it truly an embarrassment to the Labour Party that a Disability Studies specialist residing in Montreal, Canada is striving to obtain the information that she requested? Why aren't you doing a proper job?

  1. Dear Mr Miller,
totally aghast at the situation of Welfare cuts in the UK ,helped along the way by ATOS ,and now this government are introducing draconian cuts to welfare benefits across the board .I have initiated a website www.brokenbritainundertories. and would like to be updated on the progress of your application to The Hague.I have published your application for all to see ,hoping that it gives some hope to many in despair .I applaud you on your concern and do appreciate you are a man of moral courage and understanding ,as nobody in this country seems to be outspoken about the total injustice that is happening .I am not a political activist or seek any recognition for what I am doing ,which is informing the public ,but some light at the end of the tunnel would be totally appreciated by those whose lives have been turned upside down .I can appreciate you are a busy man and I have no wish to attempt to try to involve you in anything more than your stance on the welfare injustice of the UK at present .Yours sincerely Simmo
